USITC affirms industry injured by aluminum containers, clearing way for duties

( April 11, 2025, 17:38 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The US International Trade Commission voted unanimously that an American industry is injured or threatened with injury by dumped imports of disposable aluminum containers from China. The Commerce Department has already determined that China has subsidized producers of the containers and Chinese companies have dumped the product, meaning duties will now be imposed. USITC did not find critical circumstances existed, meaning there will not be retroactive duties imposed.Press release is below:...
