X litigation against misinformation group in foreign countries partly paused by US judge

( April 11, 2025, 00:51 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: A US federal judge preliminarily enjoined litigation by social media company X, and its entities, against Media Matters in Ireland and other foreign countries — except Singapore — over the group’s report on the placement of extremist content next to ads on the X platform. The litigation in Singapore can move ahead because the parties “have presumably spent a lot of time and money litigating the challenge.” The ruling also said “under no circumstances will this Court issue a ruling that enjoins or otherwise restrains the Texas litigation.”Order is attached....
