SAP bid to transfer US patent suit transfer out of Marshall denied

( April 10, 2025, 17:42 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit denied a writ of mandamus by SAP America requesting to move a patent infringement suit out of the Marshall division of the Eastern District of Texas into the Sherman division. The panel said US District Judge Rodney Gilstrap erred in his reasoning for denying the transfer, but held that transfer is not appropriate.See attached file....
