X and Adobe join effort to pass Take It Down Act

( April 10, 2025, 16:36 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Tech companies including X and Adobe have joined onto a letter spearheaded by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, along with 185 organizations representing victims, law enforcement, survivors and their families, urging US House leadership to pass the Take It Down Act. The bill, which has already passed the Senate, would require online platforms to remove non-consensual intimate images within 48-hours of being notified and criminalizes the publication of such images, whether authentic or AI-generated.See attached letter....
