Split EU trade deals to fast-track market access, incoming German coalition says

The coalition also backs swift approval of the Mercosur and Mexico agreements, and supports reducing tariffs with the US in the short term to avoid trade conflicts.The EU should accelerate its free trade agreement roadmap by splitting deals and ensuring that EU-only competences, such as market access and tariff reductions, are ratified as quickly as possible, according to Germany’s new coalition agreement....
