AI chip makers in South Korea offered support amid US trade policy challenges

The pledge was made during a meeting between Ahn Duk-geun, the minister for trade and industry, and business executives, where he also offered support to help them continue investing in the development of new products despite the heightened uncertainty.To help South Korean chip makers better cope with the impact of US trade policies, the government has pledged to increase the purchase of their semiconductors to power the national artificial intelligence computing center and to help boost their exports to data centers abroad....
