Perrigo, Actavis, others say US states' generic drug antitrust claims are time-barred

( November 22, 2024, 23:31 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Perrigo, Actavis, Amneal, and other pharmaceutical companies filed a motion for judgment against US states’ antitrust claims over generic drug pricing, arguing that they were filed too late. “Plaintiffs filed the third complaint more than four years after the last conduct that plaintiffs allege was illegal, nearly six years after the Department of Justice launched a well-publicized criminal investigation of the conduct at issue, nearly six years after Congress convened hearings about the price increases at issue, and nearly eight years after The New York Times reported on suspicious price increases for generic drugs that plaintiffs now allege were illegally coordinated. Plaintiffs waited too long to file the third complaint,” they said.See attached file. ...
