CDK urges US judge to dismiss Tekion's antitrust lawsuit

( April 8, 2025, 01:52 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: CDK Global has argued that auto dealership-management system provider Tekion's antitrust complaint against it has "incurable deficiencies and should be dismissed." In a reply in support of its motion to dismiss, CDK argued that "Tekion must allege that CDK has monopoly power, but the Complaint only contains conclusory and implausible allegations of monopoly power." CDK also asserted that Tekion’s opposition to the motion to dismiss "fails to overcome the determination by other courts that CDK is not a monopolist in the franchise" dealership-management systems market. Tekion alleges in the litigation that CDK's most frequent anticompetitive practice has been to abuse its ability to control access to the data belonging to franchise dealerships.
