Meta violated GDPR with its Business Tools services, German court rules

The court ordered the US platform giant to anonymize or delete the data and awarded 2,000 euros in damages to each plaintiff, citing violations of the EU's General Data Protection Regulation for tracking sensitive user information without explicit consent.Meta Platforms has seen a series of judgments by a German court rule in favor of several individuals who brought claims against the company (see here).
