Civil society groups ask for new EU rules on AI liability

( April 7, 2025, 04:45 GMT | Official Statement) -- Consumer associations and non-profit organizations sent a letter to the European Commission today expressing concerns about the decision to withdraw the AI Liability Directive and asking to immediately start the preparatory work for a new legislative proposal on this matter.
