Kochava witness delays threaten progress on key privacy case, US FTC tells judge

The FTC wants US District Judge B. Lynn Winmill to order Kochava to produce Benoit for a deposition next week. Kochava denied it is blocking the FTC's access to Benoit or any other witness, with the tussle over the FTC's emergency motion to compel Benoit's testimony signaling that the case continues to move forward under new FTC Chairman Andrew Ferguson.Kochava is dragging its feet in making a senior engineer available for a deposition with the US Federal Trade Commission, the agency told a federal judge in Idaho, saying the data broker’s delays threaten progress on the important geolocation privacy case....
