Kochava not producing key witnesses for depositions, US FTC tells judge in privacy case

( April 2, 2025, 15:47 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The US Federal Trade Commission and Kochava filed dueling court briefs with a federal judge in Idaho over the FTC's contention that the data broker over a period of months has been passively resisting producing a key witness, James Benoit, Kochava's Director of Sales Engineering, who the FTC says has "foundational knowledge" about its allegations that the company violated Section 5 of the FTC Act through its commerce in consumers' location data. Kochava disputes those claims. The FTC wants US District Judge B. Lynn Winmill to order Kochava to produce Benoit for a deposition on April 10. See attached files....
