Atlantic City hotels urge appeals court not to revive price-fixing suit

( March 24, 2025, 20:45 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex summary: Caesars Entertainment, Harrahs, MGM Resorts and other New Jersey hotels asked the US Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit to affirm a lower court’s dismissal of price-fixing claims brought by a proposed class of hotel patrons. The hotel-casinos said the “only substantive issue” before the court is whether the district court correctly found no agreement among the defendants to adopt prices suggested by Cendyn subsidiary Rainmaker Group, a revenue management software provider. “The answer is yes,” the companies said in a joint response brief.See attached file....
