After early scare, Tottenham FC scores win in US against counterfeiters

In a January complaint, the Spurs accused four as-yet-unknown defendants of selling counterfeit merchandise online. Soon thereafter, the lawsuit was targeted for dismissal by the federal judge assigned to the case in a sua sponte order that questioned whether the club was attempting to “skirt” its filing fees.Tottenham Hotspur Ltd. is facing irreparable harm from four e-tailers selling unauthorized merchandise online in the US, warranting the entry of preliminary injunctive relief....
