In a statement today, the Treasury Department released the “notification thresholds instrument” exposure draft and accompanying explanatory statement, ahead of the partial adoption of the new regime on July 1, 2025. “The decision to commence consultation was taken by the Government prior to the commencement of the caretaker period,” the treasury said in its statement.
