UPC defers Cloudflare information disclosure request in DISH and Sling TV

( March 27, 2025, 15:12 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The Unified Patent Court has deferred its decision on whether Cloudflare must provide DISH Technologies and Sling TV with requested information. The Mannheim Local Division determined that the requested information's relevance could only be assessed after the oral hearing. The case concerns EP 2,479,680 in DISH and Sling TV's infringement claims against Aylo and its subsidiaries. The ruling clarifies that a request for information disclosure may be conditional on whether the plaintiff's existing arguments are deemed insufficient to establish an infringement.See UPC document in German attached....
