US judge allows California wiretapping claim to proceed against Google

She dismissed a related federal claim for violation of the Driver's Privacy Protection Act.Google will have to face class action claims that it violated California’s anti-wiretapping law by intercepting personal information through its analytics tool embedded in the California Department of Motor Vehicles website....
