US FTC opposes Meta motion to seal monopolization trial exhibits

( March 23, 2025, 12:00 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The US Federal Trade Commission told a District of Columbia federal court that Meta has proposed seals and redactions on exemplar trial exhibits which prove its acquisitions of Instagram and Facebook were unlawful. Meta must either propose narrowly tailored restrictions that comply with governing law, or else be required to allow full public access to the documents and discussion thereof, the FTC said in its opposition to Meta's motion to seal exemplar potential trial exhibits, which was filed to the US District Court for the District of Columbia.See attached document:...
