Abert’s third-party request to denied in Brazilian Ubem music licensing probe

( March 21, 2025, 19:48 GMT | Official Statement) -- The Brazilian competition authority has denied a request by the Brazilian Association of Radio and Television Broadcasters (Abert) to intervene as an interested third party in the ongoing investigation into anti-competitive practices by the Brazilian Union of Music Publishers (Ubem). CADE concluded Abert’s intervention wouldn't contribute to the case’s resolution.
