Malaysia court releases Grab antitrust decision; MyCC studying next step

( March 20, 2025, 09:27 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Malaysia's Court of Appeal today released the grounds of its decision to dismiss the appeal of the Malaysia Competition Commission, or MyCC, to reinstate its proposed 86.77-million-ringgit fine ($19.5 million) on Grab and its two subsidiaries, Grabcar Sdn and Myteksi, over alleged anti-competitive practices. In the decision announced yesterday, the court said the regulator's appeal was “unmeritorious” and ordered it to pay Grab 50,000 ringgit in legal costs.
