In boost to AI industry, South Korea approves special act on national power grid

The law stipulates the establishment of a national committee to mediate conflicts between stakeholders about any project to expand the national power grid, marking a big boost for artificial intelligence and other strategic industry projects sometimes stymied by conflicts over quick expansion of the power grid. Trade, Industry and Energy Minister Ahn Duk-geun said in a statement that the act is expected to reduce opposition demonstrated by some residents to the national power grid and resolve delays in licensing.The statement, in Korean, is attached....
