China unveils implementation measures for fair-competition review effective April 20

( March 18, 2025, 03:59 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: China's State Administration for Market Regulation has released the implementation measures for fair-competition review regulations, set to take effect on April 20. Comprising 48 articles, the measures clarify the overall requirements for fair-competition review and departmental responsibilities, and establish review standards, mechanisms, and procedures, as well as supervision and safeguard measures. The aim is to ensure that market regulation departments at all levels and policy drafting units can accurately understand and apply the fair-competition review regulations.
