Welsh Carson files reply for dismissal of Texas patient's US antitrust claims

( March 14, 2025, 23:31 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary:  Welsh, Carson, Anderson, and Stowe filed a reply in support of its motion to dismiss a US case accusing it of illegally monopolizing the hospital anesthesia services in Texas, saying the opposition fails to distinguish the case from another that was dismissed. “In EMT, this court dismissed virtually the exact same claims asserted here as time-barred. Plaintiff’s only argument to avoid the same outcome relies on the same legally defective conspiracy theory asserted and rejected in EMT. The opposition also fails to point to any independent participation by any Welsh Carson entity in any alleged violation within the limitations period—conceding there was none,” it said.See attached file. ...
