Visa urges US court to reject MiCamp request for injunction

( March 13, 2025, 22:17 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Visa told a California federal judge that he should reject MiCamp's request for a temporary restraining order in an antitrust case alleging that Visa unlawfully acquired monopoly power in the market for general purpose debit card network services. "Fifteen months after filing this action and while Visa’s motion to dismiss is still pending, MiCamp has filed an ex parte application for a temporary restraining order," Visa wrote in its opposition. "MiCamp does not and cannot explain why a temporary restraining order is warranted now, and its TRO application simply repeats the theories subject to Visa’s pending motion to dismiss." See court document. ...
