The defendant was producing not only counterfeit Puma goods but also those of other major brands such as Adidas and Nike.Global sportswear giant Puma was awarded damages and costs for trademark infringement by the Delhi High Court. The defendant, initially identified only as John Doe, was not only counterfeiting the German sports brand Puma’s registered trademark but also producing counterfeit goods bearing the trademarks of Adidas, Nike and other prominent brands, according to the court order dated March 9, 2025....
