Japan updates AI guidelines for businesses to add new risks, accountability needs

The guidelines caution that multimodal generative AI could exacerbate bias and misunderstanding. It is advised that all companies involved aim to clarify their responsibility and accountability in the event of an incident, especially as diverse contractual models are now in use.
