Don't impose safeguard measures on plastic tarpaulin imports, Indonesian watchdog says

( March 11, 2025, 03:00 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The Indonesian Competition Commission has urged the Trade Ministry not to impose safeguard measures on imported plastic tarpaulin products. The Trade Ministry should instead provide easy access to obtain domestic raw materials both from domestic and overseas suppliers in order to create a healthy market, the watchdog said. The full statement by the KPPU, in Indonesia, is attached. ...
