US DOJ urges judge to enforce wage-suppression judgment against Wayne-Sanderson

( March 10, 2025, 23:45 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Wayne-Sanderson Farms is pursuing "a veiled attempt to modify" a consent decree it entered into with the US Department of Justice "when the plain language of the Final Judgment prohibits both sending competitively sensitive compensation data to Agri Stats and receiving competitively sensitive compensation data from Agri Stats," the government told a Maryland federal judge. In a reply in support of its motion to enforce the final judgment, the DOJ argued that its request "is eminently reasonable, seeking only to end the violations of the consent decree both in the short term (by pausing data exchanges that include clearly prohibited material) and long term (allowing them to restart only when the prohibited material has been removed)." See court filing. ...
