Enforcement in EU of violations for live sports piracy hasn't improved, study finds

( March 10, 2025, 17:42 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: EU governments' enforcement against illegal broadcasting of live sports has seen only limited effects in the last 17 months since a European Commission recommendation was published, according to a study by consultancy Grant Thornton. In 2024, at least 10.8 million unauthorized retransmissions were detected.
