Syngenta wins appeal at UPC confirming preliminary injunction

The court confirmed the validity and inventive step of Syngenta’s patent used in its Elumis product for preventing crop diseases, which Sumi Agro’s Kagura product likely infringes.Syngenta's patent related to crop protection is likely valid and infringed, appellate judges at the Unified Patent Court ruled last week, upholding an earlier decision to grant injunctive relief against Sumi Agro....
