12 platforms, websites in Shanghai urged to fix algorithm flaws following inspections

Problems cited include incomplete user-tag management, failure to disclose trending-list algorithm principles, and insufficient support for high-quality content. The platforms also failed to enhance content review under minors’ mode or conduct regular algorithm security self-assessments.
