Former FTC commissioner drops defamation suit against Landry, settles with Dorsey

( March 7, 2025, 16:02 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Former Federal Trade Commissioner Joshua Wright filed a motion for nonsuit against defendant and former student and colleague Angela Landry, which would result in dropping the defamation allegations against her. In a filing to the Circuit Court of Fairfax County, plaintiffs Wright and his law firm, Lodestar Law & Economics PLLC, asked the court to grant the motion and that the claims against Landry be dismissed without prejudice. Wright said in a statement that the lawsuit, which was scheduled to go to trial Monday, has also been settled with defendant Elyse Dorsey and he has been "fully vindicated."See attached document and Wright's statement below:...
