Appeals court rules CIT correct in upholding Commerce butt-weld pipe fitting rule

( March 6, 2025, 17:33 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex summary: The US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit has ruled that the Court of International Trade was right in upholding Commerce's determination that an American importer's product was within the scope of an antidumping order on butt-weld pipe fittings. US Circuit Judge Jimmie Reyna rejected arguments from three US importers, Vandewater International Inc., Smith-Cooper International, Inc. ('SCI') and Sigma Corporation, that Vandewater's steel branch outlets were not subject to the antidumping order.Court filing attached....
