Lopez requests trial delay for US DOJ wage-fixing case

( February 25, 2025, 16:00 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Eduardo Lopez has asked a Nevada federal judge to postpone a jury trial scheduled to begin on March 24 in the Department of Justice’s case accusing him of wage-fixing and fraudulently concealing the conspiracy so that he could sell his company. "Due to voluminous materials that have been ordered to be produced on the eve of trial and have not been received, and the need to appropriately review the evidence to prepare for trial, a continuance is required to ensure Mr. Lopez receives a fair trial," Lopez wrote in a court filing.See court document. ...
