Barnabas opposes CarePoint founder's US request for stay of discovery

( March 3, 2025, 22:01 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: RWJ Barnabas filed an opposition brief against several CarePoint founders' request for reconsideration of a motion to stay a US court order compelling them to comply with discovery requests. The court has ordered the founders, who have "extracted hundreds of millions of dollars from CarePoint for personal gain" as creditors against CarePoint's bankruptcy, three times to produce relevant documents, Barnabas's brief filed to the District of New Jersey said. The court has rejected the founders' burden arguments since its first order forcing compliance with Barnabas's subpoena, and Barnabas needs evidence of the founder's conduct to defend itself, Barnabas said.See attached document:...
