Michelin fighting antitrust dawn raids at EU court today

( March 5, 2025, 09:56 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: French tire manufacturer Michelin is at the bloc's first-tier court today to contest European Commission surprise visits carried out at its premises over suspicions of cartel activity. In January 2024, the EU competition authority conducted inspections at businesses including Goodyear, Bridgestone and Continental over possible breaches on the markets for replacement tires in cars, vans, trucks and buses.
