New Zealand considers introduction of 'right to repair' legislation

Greens party member Marama Davidson today tabled the Consumer Guarantees (Right to Repair) Amendment Bill in the New Zealand parliament. The bill proposes to amend the 1993 Consumer Guarantees Act to require manufacturers to make repair parts and information available to consumers to extend the lifetime of products.
