US Anesthesia Partners moves to compel competitor contracts in FTC antitrust suit

( February 26, 2025, 15:44 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary:  US Anesthesia Partners asked a Texas federal court overseeing antitrust litigation brought by the Federal Trade Commission to compel Northwest Anesthesiology & Pain Services' disclosure of contracts with medical facilities and health insurance companies. "USAP expects that these contracts will show that the terms the FTC ascribes to USAP’s alleged market power are common in the industry regardless of market power, and that there is robust competition to service Houston-area hospitals," USAP said in a court filing.See attached document....
