Amedisys tells SEC several states have enacted ‘mini-Hart-Scott-Rodino laws’

States with “mini-HSR laws” include California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New York, Oregon, Rhode Island, Vermont and Washington. “State efforts to regulate the establishment or expansion of healthcare providers could impair our ability to expand our operations,” Amedisys said.
