FTC labor task force to probe unfair, anticompetitive practices, Ferguson says

( February 26, 2025, 21:35 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Federal Trade Commission Chairman Andrew Ferguson directed the agency to form a Joint Labor Task Force that will work to prioritize rooting out and prosecuting deceptive, unfair, and anticompetitive labor-market practices that harm US workers. In a memorandum, Ferguson directed the FTC’s Bureau of Competition, Bureau of Consumer Protection, Bureau of Economics, and Office of Policy Planning to work together.
