India's top court dismisses regulating Internet prices

The two-judge bench of Judge Sanjiv Khanna and Judge Sanjay Kumar was hearing public interest litigation filed by an individual identified only as Rajat on Monday. The petitioner alleged that the majority of the Internet market was controlled by Reliance Jio, to which the court suggested that Rajat could approach the Competition Commission of India if he felt there was cartelization in the Imarket. Upholding a free market approach, the Supreme Court of India rebuffed an attempt to regulate Internet prices. The two-judge bench of Judge Sanjiv Khanna and Judge Sanjay Kumar was hearing public interest litigation on Monday  filed by an individual identified only as Rajat, according to the court records....
