Dutch watchdog was right to reject Dataprovider’s enforcement request, court says

( February 19, 2025, 15:06 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The Dutch competition authority correctly dismissed an enforcement request from Dataprovider against SIDN,  the manager of the registration of .nl domain names, the Dutch Trade and Industry Appeals Tribunal said. SIDN declined to provide a list of all domain names to which it has sole access, and Dataprovider argued that SIDN was abusing its dominant economic position. According to the court, the watchdog correctly determined that Dataprovider and its rivals are able to provide their services without having access to the list of domain names.
