Taiwan Semiconductor, supplier to Apple, others, singled out for infringement

( February 18, 2025, 10:10 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Marlin Semiconductor and Longitude Licensing are seeking a limited exclusion order from the US International Trade Commission against Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC), a supplier to some of the world’s leading technology companies. The complaint comes one week after Marlin and Longitude sued the same parties in the Western District of Texas. Defendants at both venues include TSMC, Apple, Broadcom, Lenovo Group, Motorola (Wuhan) Mobility Technologies Communication Company, Motorola Mobile Communication Technology, OnePlus Technology (Shenzhen) Co. and Qualcomm.
