Idealo’s German claim against Google now stands at EUR3.3 billion

( February 19, 2025, 11:06 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: German price-comparison website Idealo has said it has increased the antitrust damages claim it filed against Google at a court in Berlin to 3.3 billion euros ($3.4 billion). Idealo said that a recent EU court ruling — upholding a 2017 finding that Google had broken competition law — "[made it] clear that Google is abusing its market power with Google Shopping."
