Fukushima Galilei told to stop subcontractor exploitation after violation

( February 19, 2025, 07:22 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Japanese commercial refrigeration-equipment maker Fukushima Galilei violated the Subcontract Act by exploiting a total of 40.5 million yen ($267,000) from 159 subcontractors, according to the Japan Fair Trade Commission. The competition regulator said that the listed, Osaka-based company had unfairly demanded money and reduced payments from its subcontractors.
