New cost rules proposed by Indian watchdog for predatory-pricing cases

The Competition Commission of India wants to modernize its rules to address below-cost selling by digital platforms, according to the draft regulations released on Monday, seeking stakeholder feedback by March 19. The draft defines "cost" generally as average variable cost, but allows for other measures.
