UPC Munich confirms jurisdiction over Biolitec patent case

Lightguide International, confirming its jurisdiction over Biolitec Holding’s patent infringement lawsuit concerning European patent 3,685,783. The defendants argued the case should be heard in Düsseldorf, where related preliminary injunction proceedings had been filed. However, the Munich Local Division ruled that since the case was already on appeal and no longer pending at the Düsseldorf Local Division, it could proceed in Munich.  The order is attached in German. ...
