Disinformation code to be integrated into EU’s Digital Services Act

( February 13, 2025, 10:45 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Online platforms will see the code of conduct on disinformation integrated into the EU's Digital Services Act by the European Commission and the European Board for Digital Services. This conversion will make the commitments to the rules, which aim to tackle disinformation through stricter content moderation and transparency, auditable. The rules date back to 2022 and were previously self-regulatory and voluntary. The code will enter into force on July 1.The press release is attached....
