Scytáles and Deutsche Telekom win EU tender for age verification app

By Sara Brandstätter ( February 12, 2025, 17:20 GMT | Insight) -- The interim age verification app will be developed by a consortium of Scytáles AB, a Sweden-based company developing digital identities, and Deutsche Telekom, through their subsidiary T-Systems International GmbH, the commission's website shows. The European Commission has awarded its tender on age verification to the two companies at the end of January and the work on the app has started.
