( February 11, 2025, 17:28 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The App Association has written to Senators Chuck Grassley and Richard Durbin, the chair and ranking member respectively of the US Senate Judiciary Committee, urging them to quickly confirm Abigail Slater as antitrust chief of the US Department of Justice. In their letter, the body said an administration priority for App Association members is a strong stance against the abusive licensing of standard-essential patents.
